Infosys x Matalan

Infosys, a global leader in next-generation digital services and consulting, is known for driving transformative solutions across 55+ countries. With its deep expertise in digital technologies, Infosys helps businesses navigate the evolving landscape of the digital age. One such opportunity involved a potential future partnership with Matalan, a prominent omni-channel retailer that offers a diverse range of products for everyday needs.

 

The goal of this pitch was to propose a collaboration between Infosys and Matalan, aiming to drive innovation, enhance digital capabilities, and create future-ready solutions for the retail sector.

For this pitch, the task was to design a joint visual identity that would effectively convey the potential of the partnership between the two brands. The visual identity needed to demonstrate how the combination of Infosys' digital transformation expertise and Matalan’s customer-first approach could lead to impactful solutions. It was essential that the design reflect both companies' strengths while presenting a unified message of innovation, collaboration, and forward-thinking solutions.

To achieve this, a joint logo was created that blended the design elements from both Infosys and Matalan. The logo featured angular lines, symbolising progress and the concept of ascension. This design was intended to embody the potential for growth and mutual benefit that could come from a partnership between the two companies. The logo visually communicated the spirit of collaboration and the forward momentum that both brands share.

The colour palette was carefully selected to merge the primary colours from both brands, creating a harmonious and unified visual identity. This ensured that the logo not only aligned with each company’s established branding but also represented a new identity for the proposed collaboration.

 

Once the joint visual identity was established, it was applied across various pitch materials. The logo, colour scheme, and design elements were incorporated into the collateral to present a cohesive narrative to Matalan, showcasing the potential of what could be achieved through future collaboration.

 

This project demonstrated the importance of creating a visual identity that communicates the promise of a future partnership. By blending the identities of Infosys and Matalan, the joint visual identity for the pitch helped convey the possibility of a forward-looking, innovative collaboration that could drive value for both brands.
