
Ascendion, a leading force in digital innovation, is known for its bold approach to technology and its ability to merge advanced solutions with human creativity. With a strong belief in breaking barriers and driving progress, Ascendion fosters a culture of growth, resilience, and collaboration, inspiring both its clients and community.

For its annual event Ascent 2025, the creative direction was inspired by the spirit of Top Gun.
The objective was to design a visual language and supporting collateral that captured the energy of speed, precision, and boldness, while remaining aligned with Ascendion’s brand.
The task was to establish a cohesive design system that offered the event its own distinct identity yet reflected the company’s values.
The visual approach blended cinematic influence with brand consistency. Fighter jet silhouettes, aviation badges, and military insignias introduced subtle yet recognisable references, while abstract expressions of breaking limits, resilience and momentum conveyed the Maverick ethos in a broader sense.
A military-inspired colour palette was carefully integrated with Ascendion’s brand colours to maintain coherence, while typography followed the established brand identity.


The resulting design system was developed for versatility, allowing expansion across an extensive range of print and digital deliverables.
These included LED screens, stage backdrops, and animated standees, as well as immersive touchpoints such as photobooths, props, signage, and branded booths.
Supporting materials, from emailers and luggage tags to ID cards, lanyards, and check-in counters, extended the experience consistently throughout the event journey.


The final outcome was an event identity that successfully channelled the dynamism of its inspiration while reinforcing Ascendion’s mission of innovation and bold progress.
The design resonated strongly with attendees, balancing cinematic excitement with brand alignment and leaving a lasting impression of Ascendion’s values.
